VÍCTOR HUGO ÑOPO, Guitarrista y Compositor - PERÚ

VÍCTOR HUGO ÑOPO, nació en Lima, Perú, en 1974 e inició los estudios de guitarra a los doce años, con Pepe Torres. Realizó sus primeros conciertos en la radio y televisión, siendo difundidos por la Televisión Nacional.

En 1989 obtiene el II Premio en el Concurso Nacional Juventudes Musicales. En 1990 ingresa en el Conservatorio Nacional de Música, donde continúa sus estudios de Guitarra. Continúa su formación musical con Nilda Urquiza, Oscar Zamora, Ricardo Barreda, Denys Fernandez y Javier Echecopar.

En 1994 ingresa en el grado superior de música y termina en 1999 e inicia sus estudios de composición con Enrique Iturriaga. En 2001 obtiene el Titulo de Músico Profesional con alta calificación.

Asiste a cursos con Abel Carlevaro, Manuel Rubio, Allan Neive, Richard Stover, Luis Orlandini, Gen Duruos, entre otros.  Ha actuado como solista con numerosas orquestas sinfónicas, recibiendo siempre muy buena crítica.

En 2001 obtiene el Premio de Finalista en el II Concurso Internacional de Guitarra Pro Musica-Sesc”, celebrado en Caxías do Sul, Brasil, donde recibe una solicitud de una composición que fue estrenada en España, por el guitarrista Carles Pons. En 2002 fue invitado al “Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Villa de Aranda” (Burgos, España) donde ofreció un Concierto, Clases Magistrales y jurado del Concurso de Guitarra.

            En 2004 realizó una gira por Suiza, participando en el “Festival Internacional de Lausanne” y en Nyon y en el “I Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Arequipa”, Perú, ofreciendo un concierto frente a mil personas y Clases Magistrales en la Universidad Nacional San Agustín. Ha realizado conciertos en Madrid y en el Festival Internacional de Hondarribia, España, además de Jerusalén, Israel.

Es fundador y presidente de la “Asociación Cultural Vivace Perú”, para la difusión de la cultura musical y organiza el Festival y Curso Internacional de Perfeccionamiento Musical “Vivace Perú”, el Concurso Internacional de Guitarra y actividades de difusión cultural en Perú.

En el 2004, Carrara Edizioni, importante editorial Italiana publicó su composición Nostalgia, Homenaje a los Inmigrantes, por la cual fue ovacionado en España.

Sus conciertos siempre han tenido una gran acogida del público por su variedad y equilibrio, que abarcan composiciones propias, música de su país y repertorio clásico. VÍCTOR HUGO ÑOPO, Guitarist and Composer

VÍCTOR HUGO ÑOPO was born in 1974, Lima, Peru. He began his studies when he was twelve years with Pepe Torres. Victor Hugo made his first performances in the radio and TV, being spread by National Television.

Victor Hugo won the 2nd Prize in the National Competition of Musical Youths in 1989. In 1990, he entered in the National Conservatoire of Music carrying on with his general studies with Major in Guitar.

Furthermore, he enriched his musical education with Nilda Urquiza, Oscar Zamora, Ricardo Barreda, Denys Fernandez and Javier Echecopar. In 1994, he began the higher studies of music, graduating in 1999 and began composition studies with Enrique Iturriaga. In 2001 he obtained the Title of Professional Musician with a high qualification unanimously given by the jury. He enriches his formation in master classes with Abel Carlevaro, Manuel Rubio, Allan Neive, Richard Stover, Luis Orlandini, Gen Duruos, among others. He played as soloist with many Symphonies Orchestras always receiving good acknowledgement by the musical critics.

He was awarded as finalist in the “II International Guitar Competition Pro-Musica/SESC” in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, receiving a request for a composition which was played for the first time in Spain by Carles Pons. In 2002, he was invited to the International Guitar Festival of Villa de Aranda” (Burgos, Spain) to perform in a Concert, to give Master Classes and take part in the judge of the International Guitar Competition.

            In 2004 made a tour in Switzerland, participating in the “International Festival of Lausanne” and in Nyon and in the “I International Guitar Festival of Arequipa”, Peru; offering a concert and Master Classes in front of thousand people in the National University of San Agustín. He played several concerts in Madrid and the Festival the International of Hondarribia, Spain, among others towns and also in Jerusalem, Israel.

Victor Hugo is founder and president of the “Cultural Association Vivace Peru” destined to the diffusion of the cultural music. Institution which organizes the International Festival, Course of Musical Improvement “Vivace Peru”, and cultural diffusion activities inside of Peru.

In 2004, Carrara Musical Edition, Italian editorial, published his composition Nostalgia, Homage to the Immigrants, for which he was acclaimed in Spain.

His concerts have always had a great acceptance by the public due to their variety and equilibrium which include own compositions for guitar, music from his country and a classic repertoire. The press wrote: “…Talented musician, with a good technique and a serious preparation, who stands out by his artistic sensibility”. (Journal “El Comercio”)
