VII CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE GUITARRA

   Ramiro Martínez, nació en San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico.

    Realizó sus estudios musicales en la Escuela de Música de la Universidad de Guanajuato teniendo de  maestro a Francisco  Ramírez y Enrique Florez y en la Escuela Vida y Movimiento del Conjunto Cultural Ollín Yoliztli, en la ciudad de México al maestro Miguel Limón y Alejandro Salcedo, ha perfeccionado su técnica en innumerables Clases Magistrales en México, Cuba e Italia, con algunos de los mejores guitarristas del mundo, entre los que figuran Oscar Ghiglia, Hopkinson Smith, Leo Brouwer, Marco Antonio Anguiano, Julio César Oliva,  Manuel Barrueco, David Tanenbaum, Stefano Aruta, John Holmquist y Carlos Barbosa Lima.

    Se ha presentado en Festivales Internacionales de Música dentro y fuera del país como la Ressegna Internazionale di Giovanni Musicisti, en Nápoles Italia, en  1991; Heart of Chicago Festival St. Paul  ´97; XI Edición Festival Internacional de Guitarra “Fabritio Caroso” de Italia; 15th International Guitar Festival and Courses Brno ´06 República Checa; XII Festival Guitarras del Mundo y IV Edición del Festival Guitarras del Sur  de Argentina; Musica in Quartiere 2006 Parma, Italia; I Festival Internacional de la Guitarra Académica Venezuela 2007.

    Ha participado en los Festivales más importantes de Música y de Guitarra de México incluyendo el Ciclo “La Guitarra Hoy” organizado por el INBA y el  CNCA en repetidas ediciones en el Museo Nacional de Arte;  Festival Internacional  de Guitarra  de Morelia; II Festival Internacional de Guitarra de San Miguel de  Allende; 7º Concurso y Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Taxco, Gro.; XVIII Festival Internacional Cervantino de Guanajuato; Festival de Otoño “Eduardo Mata” Oaxaca 2002; XXVI Feria Internacional del Libro del Palacio de Minería de la Ciudad de México; Festival Cultural Zacatecas 2004 y 2005; Festivales de Guitarra de Guanajuato; Encuentros de Guitarra de Querétaro y Festival de Música Antigua de Querétaro, de los cuales es fundador.

    Ha presentado más de 100  conciertos a través de CONACULTA, Fondo Regional para la Cultura y las  Artes Zona Centro y Fondo Regional para la Cultura y las  Artes Zona Centro Occidente. En 2006 presentó 12 Guitarras de Maderas Mexicanas en Concierto del constructor Abel García en el Museo de Arte de Querétaro.

    Ha hecho programas en directo para  la Hora Nacional, Radio UNAM, Radio Nacional Argentina etc.

    Ha tocado con el Flautista  Cuauhtémoc Trejo, el Violinista Martín Valdeschack, la Pianista Marta García, Renart, con los artistas flamencos Raúl y Ricardo de Luna y con el Cuarteto Latinoamericano.

    Desde 1992 imparte la Cátedra de Guitarra en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro en donde ha pertenecido a la Categoría más alta del Programa de Estímulos en la Docencia, a la Creación y Ejecución Artística y a la Difusión Cultural y durante el periodo 2000-2003 fue Secretario Administrativo de dicha Facultad.

    He has participated in the most important Festivals of Music and Guitar of Mexico, including the Circle The Guitar Today organized by INBA and CNCA in a several editions in the National Art Museum; International Guitar Festival of Morelia II International Festival Guitar of San Miguel de Allende; VII International Guitar Festival and Competition of Taxco, Gro; XVIII International Festival Cervantino of Guanajuato; Autumn Festival Eduardo Mata, Oaxaca 2002; XXVI International Book Fair Palace Mining Mexico City; Cultural festival of Zacatecas 2004 y 2005; Guitar Festival of Guanajuato; Guitar Meeting of Querétaro and Early Music Festival of Querétaro, which he is the founder..

    He has offered over 100 concerts across CONACULTA, Regional Fund for Culture of Arts in the Center and West Areas.

In 2006 introduced in concert 12 guitars, made with mexican woods by Abel Garcia in the Art Museum of Queretaro. He has done live broadcast for the National Time, UNAM Radio, and National Radio Argentina.

    He played with Cuauhtémoc Trejo, flutist; Martín Valdeschack, violinist; Marta García Renart, pianist; Raúl and Ricardo de Luna, flamenco artists and Latin-American Quartet.

    Since 1992 hi is the Chair of Guitar of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Autonomous University of Queretaro where he belonged to Highest Category of Incentives Program in Teaching, Creation and Artistic Performances and Cultural Diffusion; and between 2000 and 2003 period was the Administrative Secretary of this Institution.
