JAVIER GARCÍA MORENO, Guitar - SPAIN

JAVIER GARCÍA MORENO was born in 1966, in Málaga, Spain, and he began his studies with his father, Antonio García Azuaga, professor of guitar in the Conservatoire Superior of Málaga, later continues his studies in the RCSM of Music in Madrid, finishing with “Honor Prize”

Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and Awarded with the "I Beca Eduardo Ocón” of the Delegation of Málaga, participates to extend his formation in courses and international festsivals. In 1988 he gets a place in the Department of Teachers of Music and Scenics Arts, summoned by the Junta de Andalucía, getting the first place. Hs is at the present, Director of the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire, in Málaga, Spain.

After being awarded many important national and international competitions, begins an really artistic career very intense, being acclaimed, in halls and theaters of Spain, France, Germany, England, Holland, Italy, Denmark, Yugoslavia, USA, Cuba, Poland, Venezuela, Turkey, Sweden, Japan, Austria, Mexico etc.

He has played in halls like the Carnegie Hall of New York, National Audience of Madrid, House Museum “Andrés Segovia” and the Palace of Guitar of Japan, among others, and he has participated also in International Festivals, like “Spring International “Andrés Segovia, “Cueva de Nerja”, Música “El Hatillo”, Caracas, Venezuela; Andrés Segovia Guitar Series, Miami, Florida; Sonderho Guitarfestival, Dinamarca, Francisco Tárrega, Holand, etc.

Like soloist, he has performanced with the Chamber of Berlin, Symphonic of Caracas, Philharmonic of Dublin, Chamber of European Union and the Philharmonic of Málaga, among others, being acclaimed for his special interpretation of the Concert of Aranjuez.

        For the conmemorative of the first Centenary of the Birth of Andrés Segovia, he had the honor, in February of 1993, to offer the concerts in USA by the AIG - American Institute of Guitar, in Nueva York, the F.I.U - Florida Internacional University, in Miami and the George Washington University, Washington D.F.

        He is coathor of the New Method of Guitar, used in many official centres, and he has participated like concertist and actor in the film “El Maestro”

       Usually takes Master Classes in Conservatoires and Universities in Europe and USA, South America and makes recordings for Radio and TV in many countries.

       Thanks to his trajectory, work and untiring activity, around the world, are considered by the international critic, between the most outstanding and important guitarists of his generation. Innumerable appointments of the most prestigious magazines, national and internationals, praise their interpretations.

Example of that, is the specialized Magazine Sound Board, of USA, in which it express of his concert in 1993 in the University George Washington:

“Their magnificent interpretation and his warm and attractive sound, plenty of wealth, made to the room break themselves in untiring and untiring applause”

BIOGRAPHY

JAVIER GARCÍA MORENO, Guitarra - ESPAÑA

JAVIER GARCÍA MORENO nace en Málaga en 1966, comienza a estudiar guitarra con su padre,  el Catedrático de Guitarra del Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga, Antonio García Azuaga, más tarde continua sus estudios en el RCSM de Música de Madrid, finalizando con el "Premio de Honor Fin de Carrera".

Becado por el Ministerio de Cultura y Galardonado con la "I Beca Eduardo Ocón" de la Diputación de Málaga, participa, para ampliar su formación, en Cursos y Certámenes Internacionales. En 1988 consigue una plaza en el Cuerpo de Profesores de Música y Artes Escénicas, convocada por la Junta de Andalucía, obteniendo el primer puesto. En la actualidad es director del Conservatorio “Santa Cecilia” en Málaga, España.

Tras ser premiado en importantes concursos nacionales e internacionales, comienza una carrera artística muy intensa, siendo aclamado, en salas y teatros de España, Francia, Alemania, Inglaterra, Holanda, Italia, Dinamarca, Yugoslavia, Estados Unidos, Cuba, Polonia, Venezuela, Turquía, Suecia, Japón, Austria, México etc.

Ha actuado en Teatros y salas como el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York, el Auditorio Nacional de Madrid,  la Casa Museo “Andrés Segovia”y el Palacio de la Guitarra de Japón entre otros, y ha  participado, en festivales interncionales como el Internacional de Primavera “Andrés Segovia, “Cueva de Nerja”, Música “El Hatillo”, Caracas, Venezuela; Andrés Segovia Guitar Series, Miami, Florida; Sonderho Guitarfestival, Dinamarca, Francisco Tárrega, Holanda, etc.

Ha actuado de solista en orquestas como la de Cámara de Berlín,  Sinfónica de Caracas, Filarmónica de Dublín, Cámara de la Unión Europea y la Filarmónica de Málaga entre otras, siendo aclamado por su especial interpretación del “Concierto de Aranjuez”.

Con motivo  de la Conmemoración del primer Centenario del Nacimiento de Andrés Segovia, tuvo el  honor, en Febrero de 1993, de ser el guitarrista que ofreció los conciertos en Estados Unidos por el A.i.g (  American Institute of Guita) de Nueva York, la F.I.U (Florida Internacional University) de Miami y la George Washington University (Washington D.F)

Es coautor del  Nuevo Método de Guitarra, usado en muchos centros docentes, y ha participado como concertista y actor en el film“El Maestro”.

Asiduamente imparte Clases Magistrales en Conservatorios y Universidades de Europa y Estados  Unidos y Sur-América y realiza grabaciones para cadenas de Radio y Televisión de diversos países.

Por su trayectoria, labor e incansable actividad concertística por todo el mundo, es considerado por la crítica internacional, entre los guitarristas más destacados e importantes de su generación. Innumerables citas de las más prestigiosas revistas, nacionales e internacionales, elogian sus interpretaciones,
